The market

It's never been harder to make a senior move on reputation alone.

Economic uncertainty, cost pressure and AI have changed how organisations appoint leaders. More executives are on the move, fewer roles are opening, and the ones that do are filled quietly. If your search feels slower than it used to, it isn't you. The market has shifted.

75%

of executive roles are never advertised, so the best opportunities are filled before most candidates hear about them.

"There are fewer roles, and more people going for them."

Employers have paused hiring while more executives test the market. Every senior opening now draws a deep, experienced field.

Economic uncertainty - hiring freezes

"My role was restructured out from under me."

Cost-out programmes are merging portfolios and removing layers. Capable leaders are back in the market sooner than planned, without a strategy ready.

Productivity pressure - flatter structures

"The good roles are gone before I hear about them."

Cautious boards hire people they know, or people a trusted search firm puts in front of them. Many senior roles are never advertised.

Confidential searches - referral networks

"I apply and hear nothing back."

Automated screening and high volumes mean recruiters spend seconds on each profile. If your value isn't obvious immediately, you aren't seen.

AI screening - LinkedIn-first shortlisting

"The process drags on for months."

More rounds, more stakeholders, more second-guessing. Candidates without a clear, consistent story fall away along the way.

Cautious boards - cost of a wrong hire

"Everyone inside knows what I've done. Nobody outside does."

After years delivering inside one organisation, your reputation lives with people who already know you. To the wider market, you're largely invisible.

Long tenure - no external brand

The way through

Experience isn't a brand. Positioning is.

Most senior leaders can list what they've done. Far fewer can say, in one sentence, what they're known for and why it matters to the organisation they want to join. Without that, every document becomes a summary of duties.

Executive Brand starts there. We define your value proposition and the market where it's worth most, then write every document, from your CV to your networking CV, to carry the same message.

The programme

Seven steps from where you are to where you're going.

Executive Brand covers steps I, V and VI: your target market and value proposition, then your CV, executive bio, networking CV and LinkedIn written on them. Add the market maps and a transition strategy with Executive Strategy at any point.

I
Strategy

Market

Opportunity sourcing and outreach

We flag opportunities in your market before they're advertised, position you for each one, and use our connections to reach the right search consultants and decision-makers early. When a role does go to market, your coach tailors your application, so you're never going it alone at the moment it counts.

The outcome

What changes once you're positioned properly.

You stop describing what you've done, and start being known for what you do best.

01

A clear value proposition

You can explain in one sentence what you're known for and why it matters to the organisations you're targeting.

02

The right market

You know which sectors, organisations and roles value your experience most, and why.

03

One story, told everywhere

Your CV, bio, networking CV and LinkedIn all say the same thing, in the right format for each reader.

04

Something to hand over

Your executive bio and networking CV make it easy for your network to introduce you and pass your name on.

05

Seen at the next level

You're positioned as the leader you're becoming, not the role you have now.

06

Found by the right recruiters

Your LinkedIn profile is written to appear when search consultants search for leaders in your field.

Dan Evans, Director of Executive Services
A personal service

You'll never be a ticket number here.

I lead our executive services in New Zealand. Senior leaders deserve the same calibre of advice they'd expect from their own advisers, not a template and a turnaround time. That's the standard I hold every engagement to.

Every client works with one Executive Transition Coach. That same person defines your market, maps the search firms and companies that matter, writes every document and stays with you through your applications.

We cap the number of executive clients we take on at any one time, because this work can't be rushed. And if we don't think we can help you, we'll tell you on the first call.

A capped client roster

We limit the number of executive clients we work with at once, so yours receives the time it deserves.

One coach, end to end

One Executive Transition Coach, a senior specialist in your field, handles your strategy, documents and LinkedIn. No hand-offs.

Confidential and discreet

Whether you're employed, exploring quietly or between roles, your search stays private.

“

In less than 2 hours after presenting it to Executive Search firms, I had 2 interviews scheduled. I even had a comment from one of the recruiters telling me it was the best designed and presented cv he had ever seen!

Carolyn Gass - via Trustpilot

“After spending 20 years with the same company, progressing to director level, I found myself at a crossroads. … He reminded me of the strength of my career and positioned me in the best possible light to prospective employers.”

Stuart H - Director - via Trustpilot

“Working at a general manager level, I wasn’t sure what to expect … Ange was incredible and could really change the language and frame the key successes and highlights in a way I didn’t think was possible.”

Is this right for you

Built for leaders at a turning point.

Leaders changing sector or industry
Stepping up a level and needing to be seen differently
Relying on your network and introductions for your next move
Unsure how to describe what you're known for

Need a market map and a plan of approach as well? Look at Executive Strategy, or compare all four programmes.

Questions executives ask us

How much does the programme cost?

Fees depend on the programme and the level of support you need, and are confirmed at your consultation, once we understand your goals. Executive Transition runs for six months, and payment options are available. Interview coaching is quoted separately. We'll recommend the right level on your consultation call, with no obligation to proceed.

Can I start smaller and upgrade later?

Yes. Executive Profile covers your CV and LinkedIn. You can add Executive Brand, Strategy or Transition at any point, and your coach carries on from where you left off.

What's the difference between Strategy and Transition?

Executive Strategy gives you the plan: your market, the search firms and companies that matter, and how to approach them. You run the search with it. Executive Transition puts that plan to work with you for six months. We flag opportunities before they're advertised, position you for each one and make the early approaches alongside you.

Is interview coaching included?

Interview coaching is a separate service that can be added to any programme, including Executive Transition. It's run by video with your coach and built around the specific role in front of you.

How is this different from an executive CV?

An executive CV is one document. Executive Brand starts with your positioning, your value proposition and target market, then builds your CV, bio, networking CV and LinkedIn around it. If a CV is all you need, see our Executive CV service, or compare all four programmes.

How long is the consultation?

Executive Profile starts with a 90-minute CV consultation. Executive Brand, Strategy and Transition start with an in-depth strategy session of two to three hours.

Who will I work with?

One Executive Transition Coach who specialises in your field, from the first consultation to the final document. A department manager oversees quality at every stage.

Is it confidential?

Completely. Whether you're employed and exploring quietly or between roles, your details, documents and search activity are never shared without your permission.

Do you guarantee I will land a role?

No one can honestly guarantee an executive appointment. What we give you is a clear target market, a map of who controls access to it, and a brand that makes you the obvious candidate when your name comes up.

Do I need to be near one of your offices?

No. Consultations are run by phone or video with the best consultant for your profession, wherever you are.
